Re-entry
fear

Chapter 1

Understanding re-entry fear and it's effects.

What are it's causes?

Re-entry fear is related to general anxiety which can be caused by stress at work, school, personal relationship, financial, political issues, uncertain world events, like a pandemic, emotional trauma, medical illness and law of attraction.

How to undo re-entry fear?
What is re-entry fear?

Re-entry anxiety – an uneasiness about returning to the old normal of schools and offices, and social gatherings large and small, after lockdown.

How is re-entry fear related to law of attraction?

If people try something new or want to accomplish something but fail, they become demotivated. It sometimes scares people to try new things because they fear that no matter how much effort they put in, they will eventually fail.

One can temporarily cure it by using various techniques such as breathing, counting, visualizing, music, heat, staying present. One can also calm themselves by looking at landscapes, pets, nature, colors and manifestation, etc.

The causes and symptoms of re-entry fear are common to general anxiety. A person’s thinking process can have an enormous impact on their social life. Mixing manifestation and general anxiety exercises, it is possible to completely cure the problem of re-entry fear.

Insight

Chapter 2

Survey: To get the real-time
idea about re-entry fear

According to the survey, each person had a unique reason for their anxiety, such as childhood trauma, second wave, group presentations, etc. People with anxiety experience symptoms such as sweating, changes in breathing patterns, sore muscles, teeth clenching, etc. I also learned that school students, college students, and young adults fear re-entry more than adults do.

Product Ideation

I made a number of ideations that are based on various anxiety symptoms after carrying out a research, conducting polls, and creating personas. in addition to the things that can make people feel less worried.

Ideation 1

Symptom - Sweating

A head accessory like headband or glasses, which has a water sensor. When it detects presence of water, it will put mild pressure on the forehead (like while meditating ) for 10-15 seconds so the person can manifest positive things in that time.

Ideation 2

Symptom - Increased pulse rate

A wrist band senses a person’s pulse rate. And if it is very low/ high, the band will start vibrating for 5 seconds and draw the person’s attention to itself. For that period, the person can manifest positive things.

Ideation 3

Symptom - Sweaty palms

These gloves have a sensor which vibrates for 5 seconds whenever a person gets sweaty hands while being anxious. During that 5 seconds, the person can manifest positive things.

Ideation 4

Symptom - Nervous, fumble

A glass wall in the person’s cubicle which will turn foggy whenever the person is feeling anxious and need some alone time in their workspace. With this, they can get some privacy and calm themselves.

Ideation 5

Symptom - Sweating

Same as the first concept which has a water sensor in it. Another concept is that these glasses will put pressure for 10-15 seconds every 1 hour so the person can manifest every one hour.

Ideation 6

Symptom - Clenching fists

A hand accessory which is soft and does not have any sharp edges. So when a person is anxious and clenches their fist, this accessory will slowly start getting cool. The softness will act as a stress relief ball and the coolness will make the person manifest positive things.

Ideation 7

Symptom - loneliness

A vest which has stimulator which stimulates a feeling as if someone close is patting on our back. This can make a person feel relaxed and positive.

Ideation 8

Calming effect - Music

Speakers which will make the person repeat the positive sentences like, “ I can do this”. Speakers, which will start reverse counting as it helps in reducing anxiety

Ideation 9

Symptom - Change in breathing pattern

A mirror which will copy the person’s breathing pattern and gradually bring it to normal. They can use these mirrors at homes and at workplaces.

Ideation 10

Symptom - Tight muscles

Electric acupuncture patches which one can put on his/her back, the patches will have a sensor which will sense the muscle activity. Whenever the person gets anxious the sensors will send a signal to the regulator of the patches and one can switch on the patches.

Ideation 11

Calming effect - Music

An app where one can put his/ her mood and the app will recommend song suggestions based on the mood.

Ideation 12

Symptom - Cognitive diffusion

An app where the person put the problem he/ she is facing. The concern will be sent to a counsellor. Who will send a MCQ test which the person will fill and get a report based on that. In this way the person can get their thoughts sorted.

Chapter 5

Form generation

The inspiration for forms is taken from elements of flowers.

Chapter 6

Final design

Vibrates
Diverts attention

A wristband which has a pulse sensor inside it. Whenever a person is in a social situation like presenting in the class, and he/she is very nervous. The pulse sensor will sense the change in person’s pulse and will start vibrating for 5-7 seconds. When the wristband vibrates, it will seek the person’s attention, in that span of 5-7 seconds, the person can say positive words like, “I can do it” to themselves.

This product can help people suffering from re-entry fear and maybe one’s suffering from social anxiety.
