Roseate Collection
This project aims to design a collection inspired by a city that uses embroidery designs. I created the complete collection from the look to the storyline.
Inspiration
I wanted to create a traditional and romantic mood for this collection. So, I used pictures of different motifs from Jaipur architecture and roses.
I chose to go with a color palette of tones and shades of salmon pink to represent the pink city. I shortlisted different names for the collection, like a roseate, coral, romantic, fairy tale, Jaipur, amorous, and starry-eyed. My industry mentor told me to go with the name Roseate.
Form generation
I made different patterns inspired from the motifs of Jaipur architecture. These are the selected patterns which were taken forward. After this, my mentor sent these documents for sampling.
